Lost: camera
Broken: computer
The camera has been replaced by a cheaper one...sad.
The computer is shot and we are using Kevin's brother's which does not have a photo shop program. So as I have been diligently trying to make a more appealing blog banner, I CANNOT remove Dane's shoe in the picture so you, the reader, can see the script in its entirety. Bummer.
I really would like to spend some time updating, I'll do my best with what little time I may have!
Glory:
What an angel. Seriously, if people had babies like her more often, they would have boatloads of children. She SLEEPS. And I mean SLEEPS. She often sleeps 8 to 10 hours straight a night. No kidding. And yes, she is breastfed. Can you believe it!?!? She's three months old and she sleeps better than Dane at 20 months old.
She smiles up a storm...SO sweet. And now she is laughing! She is getting to be a little chub. The rolls are coming in and they are so awesome. I LOVE a chubby baby. She loves to eat and would just sit and eat for hours if I let her. Every time I take her off the breast she whines! The only time she really gets fired-up is when she is in the car seat, she hates it. The second I put her in she screams bloody murder...and keeps screaming. I cannot tell you how many times in the past two weeks I have had to pull over, climb in the back seat to wedge myself between two car seats and fed her to calm her down. In the meantime Dane is showing his usual jealous behavior by whining, crying, or otherwise throwing a tantrum. This has been occurring every time I hold or feed Glory. It is joyous, lemme tell ya'.
Anyway, in a nutshell, Glory is a sweetie pie and I absolutely adore her. I would even adore her if she was a hellion like someone else I know...
Dane:
Ha, ha. No really, Dane is a little love. He is a sweet boy, just having a hard time sharing the spotlight. When I hold or feed Glory he either exhibits the above behavior I mentioned or points to her swing (he wants me to set her down), or he climbs all over me while I try to keep my sanity (and hold the baby).
His new phrase is "oh, sweet!" He likes to drink out of the dog bowl - like a dog - laying on the floor and sticking his tongue in the bowl. There is an apple tree in the neighbor's yard and this tree is dropping apples like crazy - over the fence into our yard. Of course Dane seems to find every little nasty, brown, holey, gross apple to eat. As fast as I can throw them out of the yard or take them away, he has another.
He throws anything; stones, balls, food, toys, you name it. He climbs anything; chairs, tables, couches, toilets, beds, cribs, etc. As fast as I redirect this child he is up to something else naughty. He wears me out. Seriously. I change his clothes at LEAST twice a day, but his shirt about three...or I give up and let him wear a diaper and dirty shorts after dinner. What will I do when winter comes!?!?
Dane still loves to read, eat, dance & play outside. He LOVES water...the bath, lake or kiddie pool. He still has an obsession with balls and every ball is "bagga" aka basketball. I love him to death and feel sad when I cannot give him my 100% attention.
Really, that is all I have time to write. Hope that helps you paint a picture (for my faraway friends and fam)!
Love to you all -
